3 Days, 50 Miles, closer to a cure!

A message from my brother Paul:

Hi, everyone –

With the summer heat in full swing, it’s tough to imagine walking 50 miles but that’s what lies ahead once again.  On Friday, September 5, I kick off my 22nd year participating in the MS Challenge Walk.  This year’s journey should be interesting as the joints are barking just that little bit louder.  But it’s nothing that a well-positioned knee brace can’t remedy (or at least I hope so!).

As in the past few years, the three-day trek starts at the Cape in Hyannis and winds us through the streets and bike paths of Yarmouth, Falmouth and Sandwich.  Hopefully, as September approaches, the high heat and humidity will make way for cooler breezes.  No matter what, though, I’ll be ready.

As always, I walk on behalf of my sister Anne who battles heroically every day against the effects of Multiple Sclerosis.  Proudly, I’ll lace up my sneakers again and will continue to do all that I can to support her.   I’m hoping that you’ll decide to fight alongside me as you have wonderfully done time and time again.  Your words of encouragement and financial sacrifice are always so much appreciated.

Please know the funds you provide go such a long way toward research and treatment, as well as assisting all those who fight and struggle with MS every day.   With so many many medical and pharmaceutical strides being made, it’s just a matter of time before this disease is halted in its tracks and its sting is gone forever.

To make that difference, there are two paths you can follow:

The fastest and most convenient would be to visit my fundraising page at:

Paul Keohane - Fundraising For National MS Society

You can also mail me a check, making it out to The National MS Society.

Thank you all so very much!!!!
