Planet of the Apes Mug (with special guest work), Painted Ceramic (Clay Time), December 2025

On our way to Claytime for some holiday family fun time, I decided to try and paint Zira and Cornelius from the original Planet of the Apes film. I just told myself, "Paint the shapes, the hues, and don't try to paint THEM" and it worked, I think! Gave this to Mom for Christmas. Someone once said, "Art is meant to be given away." I think of how many paintings my Great Uncle Armand made we might never know about because he gave them away. It's so wonderful to be able to share all of this via the internet.
