The Right Side of Dan's Brain, Episode 2

Oh, and since I never explained - the black spots I was seeing in my car ended up being, after a trip to the eye doctor, a separation of the gel thingamadoodle that is my main eye part from the back of the eye by the optic nerve. Was NOT the main retina separating. The thing it was is normal for someone my age, and could happen again. The black spots are just detritus everyone has floating in the gel - the wiggly things you see every day and your brain ignores. When something happens to the eye like this, it's like a snow globe, sends the thingies in the gel moving around for a time only to settle back down. But seeing them is an indicator that SOMETHING happened and you should always have it checked out.
