Joys of Boyhood #1: Eagle, Acrylic on Board, Nov 2025

Linda put on a really depressing show about a serial killer, disturbing enough I had to go downstairs and paint something happy. After deliberating, I decided to paint a ship from my old childhood favorite TV show - Space: 1999 (1975-1977). Found a picture online I liked of the "Eagle" spacecraft, which was always very cool. I made a model of one or two in my time. Similar to the ghost painting previously, I did this as quickly as possible, and after talking to brother Mike, decided to do a series. Calling it Joys of Boyhood (meaning my boyhood), and of course it's all sci fi stuff I used to watch. A series of paintings on various spacecraft that wonder-fied my imagination.
